C100 was founded with the support of 100 Charter Members, which since 2010, has been a core part of the C100’s identity as an organization. As the community has grown, so has C100’s mission, mandate, and impact. Today, C100 is the pre-eminent global community of Canadians in tech. With incredible leaders in varied fields emerging throughout Canada and the world, we aspire to be the network that works to support and fuel their career.
Through a rich program of curated member’s events throughout the year and participation in C100’s flagship programs, members enjoy meeting other Canadians having an impact in tech. Specifically, C100 membership offers the following benefits:

The C100 organization is headquartered in San Francisco, California with some team members based in Toronto.

☑︎ Pay your membership dues ($650 USD) - you will not be charged until your application is approved.
There are multiple ways that you can get sponsored!
1. Reach out to an existing Member, Charter Member and current C100 Fellow! Our full list of Members and Charter Members will be posted soon on our website, but you can also find C100 Members through our LinkedIn page.
2. Don't know any Members and are uncomfortable reaching out? That’s okay! Join us at one of C100’s open events. to learn more about the organization and meet members. At open C100 events, the C100 team can help to introduce you to the community and help you connect with members in attendance who can answer questions about membership application and sponsorship process.
If you are a current C100 Member or Charter Member and know a great Canadian that would benefit from joining this community, you now have the ability to nominate a Member! After all, this community is built by you.
Using the link found in your inbox (at the bottom of each Member Digest), you can submit nominations for potential new Members. Please note, they will receive an email immediately letting them know that you have nominated them. If you need the link, please reach out to a Member of our team.
Unfortunately, if you are not a current C100 Member, you are not eligible to sponsor prospective members (all the more reason to apply yourself!).
Our events are primarily reserved for members, but we occasionally have limited spots available for non-members. If you come across an event you'd like to attend, feel free to reach out to us at membership@thec100.org, and we’d be happy to check availability for you.
Charter Membership is by invitation and represents a 100+ network of influential Canadian leaders with distinguished careers in technology as entrepreneurs, operators, and investors. C100’s Membership Committee recruits Charter Members based on their ability to be public champions, mentors, and change agents for the entrepreneurs in our programs.
Charter Members have an increased commitment to the C100 mission and agree to uphold C100’s mission by actively contributing to our program for a minimum of three years. By contrast, a regular membership at C100 is annual.
C100 is a private, member-supported nonprofit. Since inception, the majority of C100’s funding has been provided by by a group of highly-committed corporate partners, venture funds, and academic institutions. We would be nowhere without their steadfast support.
Individual membership dues support C100 member activities.
